What is ACCESS?

ACCESS is an NHSE London commissioned Critical Care Transfer and Retrieval service hosted by Barts Health and delivered collaboratively by London Operational Delivery Networks in partnership with London Ambulance Service NHS Trust.

Scope of Work…

The service provides a dedicated and fully equipped mobile intensive care team for patients requiring inter-facility transfers whilst receiving ongoing organ support.

Capacity

All patients requiring inter-facility transfer whilst receiving any organ support in London region

Escalation

Patients that require transfer for escalation of care, from a Critical Care Unit or Emergency Department

repatriation

Patients within a Critical Care Unit requiring inter-facility transfers to their original hospital.
